N.C.T.C. offers a 90-minute partly narrated Train ride. (Youíre on the Train for a half hour to History Hill where we get out for about half hour and a tour guide takes you through the Chinese Cemetery then half hour Train ride back. This Train ride is good for the whole family. Daily excursion cars are open top so we can view the trees, and with four excursion cars we are able to seat up to 100 riders. Come and ride, view the beautiful Northern Queen Inn grounds on our relaxing Train ride. Also view vintage railroad rolling stock, the Mohawk Mine (1867 to1939) and visit an authentic Chinese Cemetery (1860 to 1932). Enjoy riding through 15 acres of tall pines, ciders, sugar pine and many more wonderful trees. Our Train will roll on 60 lb. and 35 lb. rail; this Train ride is almost a 3-mile round trip. Bathrooms and drinking water available by the Depot and next to the Chinese Cemetery trail head.
